August 2022 Forays

During August we had 4 foray groups head to Big Cottonwood Canyon, 1 to Millcreek Canyon, 1 to the Uintas and 1 to Logan canyon. We had a new leader this month, Kevin Parks, and 2 community science focused forays thanks to our VP Gabriela. Thanks to everyone who came out.
Monsoon rains in early August made for some good edible discoveries, and plenty of other interesting finds in the canyons close to the city. The rains seemed to have taken a break, but we're hoping for them to return for the last forays of the season coming up on September 10th.
